The cheapest way to commute from Phuket Airport to Old Town Phuket is airport bus. This is the latest updated time table. I think this is very useful for whoever is planning to come to Phuket or depart from Phuket by plane, so you know what time is the latest flight you can book and still have enough time to catch an Airport bus. Most of the time tourists choose their flights based on the cost but forget to check if there are transportation when the flights will arrive to depart or not. As a local, what I notice is that extreme early flights for departure, and late night flights for arrival are always significantly cheap, but you will have to pay for taxi which costs a lot more.
