Sunday is the best day to visit Old Town Phuket, because there is Sunday market from 4 PM until 10 PM, where you can find tones of delicious food with reasonable price.

The best time I recommend you should arrive here is at 5 PM, because there are not many people coming out for dinner yet, and the area is not crowded.

ATM and Money Exchange

There are lot of ATMs in the area and there is a big money exchange shop, which is only two minute walk from Sunday Market, called Yes Exchange, which is a big enough chain in Thailand. I personally exchange money here. It has good a rating, and reviews on Google Map. (I am not sponsored by this company.)

Transportations and Parking

If you ride a motor bike, it is a lot easier to find a spot to park before 5 PM.
If you go there from Patong area by bus, last trip to Old Town Phuket to Patong is at 8 PM. You can catch a bus at Old Phuket Bus Terminal, where is near, five-minute walk, from Sunday Market, but I recommend you arrive at the terminal 10 minutes in advance, because sometimes those buses leave a bit early.
